Security Screening (NASP)

Passenger and aircraft security are a vital part of what Biggin Hill provides for its customers. The Airport has been a participant in the National Aviation Security Program (NASP) for many years and has over 40 people available and trained in house to carry out the security procedures. To complement this, the airport has separate hold and hand baggage screening areas in order that multiple flights can be processed at the same time.

Biggin Hill operates 24 hour security patrols around the entire Airport site with restricted access to the Terminal. In addition the Airport has CCTV and other security measures in place. The patrols include the car park, which is locked at night.
