Biggin Hill operates 24 hour security patrols around the entire Airport site with restricted access to the terminal. In addition the airport has CCTV and other security measures in place. The patrols include the Car Park, which is locked at night. The airport is also a long-time participant in the National Aviation Security Programme, which means that Biggin Hill has all the correct facilities to fully screen passengers, crew and baggage at any time and carries out refresher courses for its entire staff at very regular intervals. |
